Young Leaders Initiative (YLI) is a youth-focused initiative of You Lead Initiative International, dedicated to empowering young people through skills development, leadership, digital innovation, entrepreneurship and community impact.
Our initiatives address unemployment, social vulnerability and limited economic opportunity through practical learning, entrepreneurship, leadership development, mentorship and constructive engagement.
We also place strong emphasis on character, integrity, responsibility, compassion and values that enable young people to contribute positively to their families and communities.
Our goal is not simply to teach a skill. We want participants to gain the confidence, knowledge and foundation required to create sustainable opportunities and meaningful impact.
We envision communities where young people are equipped to resist destructive social influences, embrace responsibility and use entrepreneurship and productive engagement to build sustainable futures.

YLI programs are designed around practical participation. Young people learn, interact, ask questions, develop new capabilities and discover opportunities they can apply in real life.
Our programs include skill acquisition, leadership and entrepreneurship development, digital innovation, seminars, community engagement, mentorship and other initiatives designed around the evolving needs of young people.
Government, communities, businesses, volunteers, mentors, donors and young people all have a role to play in creating stronger opportunities for the next generation.
